Tillie’s Adventures – Crannoch Woods

Crannoch Woods is on the edge of Cullen. I was going to buy Cullen with my first five pounds and I suppose I could’ve owned the woods. But I don’t like shops so didn’t go into a shop to buy Cullen and therefore I don’t own the woods. I think they are owned by Seafield Estate. Anyway, Crannoch Woods are a lovely walk and can be combined with a walk around Cullen town or along the coast a little bit to Sunnyside Beach. I like to go to Crannoch Woods for a gentle stroll. A Sunday stroll perhaps. It’s a nice place. Popular with other dog walkers and families so there’s always somebody to say hello to.

Location: here

Distance:Β Depends on where you decide to walk. We make up our own routes depending on the sniffs. There are signposted routes to follow.

There’s a lovely open woodland area at the entrance to the woods …

The main track up into the woods is a gentle uphill climb. It’s a nice soft woodland track underpaw …

We like to go off the main signposted tracks to explore deeper into the woods. Here I am running through the woods …

Another lovely open area with a big old beech tree. I think the tree could tell some stories …

There’s a pond at the top of the woods …

Tillie in the woods beside the pond …

Crannoch Woods, Cullen. A lovely gentle stroll. Perfect for a Sunday.

The end.
