Tillie’s Adventures – Bin of Cullen

We live beside the Bin of Cullen. Also known as the Bin Hill. It’s one of my favourite places for exploring and it’s only a short walk from our house and work. The bottom part of the Bin, also known as Little Bin, has woodland, forest and a burn. The top is covered in heather. There are plenty of forest and woodland tracks which make up some epic adventures. Todays adventure took us to the top of the Bin.

The track up the Bin through the forest of Scots Pine …

Out of the forest and into the heather … the view towards home and the Knock Hill …

Tillie nearly at the top of the Bin …

At the top of the Bin above Cullen, Portknockie and Findochty …

Parked up for a nanosecond at the top of the Bin Hill looking south towards home …

Looking west along the Moray Firth, over Buckie and Lossiemouth …

(For the smarty pants out there … this photograph was taken on a different day when I was wearing my red collar. I was wearing my Sunday best leather collar today. Because it was Sunday.)

Looking North over the Moray Firth towards Caithness and Sutherland …

Running down the Bin. Time for lunch …
